Studio 512 is an architectural design and construction firm in Austin established in 2004 by Nicole Blair.

Design projects range from residential, small commercial, and public art building projects with varying budgets.  In 2013, Studio 512 began acting as general contractor for some of our more unique design projects, and in 2015 expanded general contracting services to include construction for select outside architects.

Nicole was born and raised in Austin and is a licensed architect in the state of Texas.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Apparel from Cornell University and her Masters in Architecture from Rice University.  She studied abroad in Florence (with Syracuse University) and in Paris (with Rice University. She also gained work experience in New York City in the award-winning offices of Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Peter Eisenman, before starting her own firm. Nicole is proud to now be able to help shape the community that first shaped her.

The relationships built with clients, artisans, contractors, and subcontractors along the way are as important to Nicole as the buildings themselves.  We measure success not only by the end product, but also by how we get there.
